What is the Europass CV?
Europass is a standardized European CV format that you fill in with an official online tool. Its purpose is for studies, experience and skills to look the same across member states.
The format has fixed sections and a predefined look. The advantage is recognition: an institution that asks for it knows where to find each piece of information.
When is Europass requested?
You will meet it in public-sector competitions, EU-funded projects, scholarships, Erasmus mobility and at some universities. Always read the requirement in the posting: if it says "CV in Europass format", use it.
