1. Right of withdrawal within 14 days
If you are a consumer and buy a paid Joben plan online, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving a reason (Art. 9 of Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014).
The right also applies to digital services, with the exceptions in sections 3 and 4.
2. How to withdraw
The simplest way: open the "Withdraw from contract here" page (linked in the footer of every page and in Settings), fill in your name, email address and, if you wish, the order, then press the confirm button. You receive an email confirming the date and time we received it. The function is available throughout the withdrawal period (Art. 11^1 of Ordinance no. 34/2014).
You can also write to hello@joben.eu with your name, the account email address and the order. You may use the model withdrawal form from Ordinance no. 34/2014.
3. The 14-day Interview Pass
The Pass gives immediate Pro access. At checkout in Stripe you give your express consent to access starting immediately and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal, to the extent the law allows this exception (Art. 16 of Ordinance no. 34/2014).
If the exception does not apply in your case, sections 2 and 5 apply.
4. Pro and Recruiting Plan subscriptions
Subscriptions start immediately at your request. If you withdraw within the first 14 days, you pay an amount proportionate to the access used until you withdrew, and the rest is refunded. Withdrawing also stops future renewals.
5. How and when we refund
We confirm receipt of your withdrawal statement and refund the amounts due within 14 days of receiving it, using the payment method you used for the order (Stripe), at no extra cost to you.
6. Other situations
Amounts paid for an access period that has already started are refunded only under the right of withdrawal and the legal guarantee rights for digital content and digital services (Ordinance no. 141/2021).
If a paid service did not work as described, write to hello@joben.eu and we will fix it or refund proportionately, as the law requires.
7. Complaints
For any problem write to hello@joben.eu. As a consumer you can also turn to ANPC (anpc.ro) or to an alternative dispute resolution (SAL) body listed on anpc.ro. These routes are optional and do not affect your right to go to court.
